close-up of the mail workstation I'm building...should be done tomorrow or the next day...we're still debating what material to use to enclose the three sides... we want something nicer looking than plywood...but it needs to be inexpensive...so we might use a 4 x 8 wainscotting sheet, or do you have any ideas for me????
The top we'll attach last. We salvaged the desk top from an old broken maple desk, sanded it and used a mohagony stain, so it has a deep red tint. Lori did all the staining, and most of the sanding...
I'll also lay a shelf board accross the two cross boards...and I don't know what I'll make the shelf from...scrap probably... |
