I am not a bird watcher, but this caught my attention.
What I noticed first was the Wyoming phenomenon of the single tree alone surrounded by acres of scrub sage and grass. Then, we saw the large bird's nest halfway up on the right edge. Our host said it was an osprey. It sure looked big. Of course, I walked carefully as close as I dared, looking for rattlesnakes every step, but glancing up in case I faced attack from above, also. Not the Midwest. |
