Copenhagen loves trees too!
This big one on the left is just one of the huge cottonwoods (and maybe sycamores? by the creek) that surround the house area.
The western kingbirds and yellow warblers nest here in *this* tree, and the robins sing, sing, sing at dawn and evening from all of them!
All of these tree (and descendants, note small one in middle, has a BIG stump it's growing from!) were planted 1949-1947 by the original builders (a little at a time) of this house!
The kitchen was once a "line shack" on a huge western range style ranch. (That's where the cowhands slept while riding day-by-day to check fences on huuuuuuge ranches) They turned it into a house (slowly) while running cattle on 4,000 acres!
