Afreaka - early 70's NY latin rock thing. Fascinating for it's use of a crocheted wrestling mask - astoundingly ahead of it's time. I recall a Paris based fashion duo using a similar motif of muscle-bound models wearing Mexican wrestler masks but that was in the early 90's so this cover's concept beats all. |
