Three Eastern Bluebirds (Sialia sialis) check out Nestbox #1 this morning.
There will be bluebirds here over the winter, and they will use the nestboxes as winter roosts. Whether they are the parents from this summer and their offspring, I don't know. Perhaps my bluebirds went further south, and these are birds from up north?
In any case, at this time of year the bluebirds reappear and check out all available roosting places.
