July 4, 1776 Fifty- six signed the Declaration of Independence. Most if not all were Liberals. Look up in the dictionary two words. Whigs and Tory's. To save you time Whigs were Liberals and supported the War of Independence. Tories were Conservatives and opposed the war, some joined the British Army and fought against the Americans. They were known as Loyalist and after the war some fled to Canada. It is funny how Fox news calls Liberals traitors, I guess they never read history books, only books in how to lie with a smirk on there face. I am very proud to call myself a Liberal. |
