Ok, I found a decent job in Japan, that would start in May. So, it being early March in Japan, and the weather being miserable, and Mrs. Gaiyang and myself married for over 1 1/2 years at the time (1992) with no major travle experience as a couple, what better time than to go to southern Thailand? The trip lasted about 6 weeks. We went down the western coast to Penang in Malaysia, and then up the eastern coast. (The western coast, btw, was ravaged by the tsunami. These are some slide and negative scans from the trip. |
