Inside of a church I visited way back yonder in (West) Berlin in 1974 . . .

A stunning "new" church with the old (very old) church, bombed by the Allies, standing next door as a reminder.
The Germans had a nickname for the old memorial of war, so they told us, "Die Morschen Zahn" - "the Rotten Tooth". It still stands today - what was the Kaiser Wilhelm (don't know WHICH Wilhelm!) Memorial Church.
A stunning place, no way a photo can do it justice. The stained glass is 3? 4? stories high and goes allll the way arund . . .
