I belong to AC!, a French association of unemployed people. Yesterday we went to the City of L'Aigle ('The Eagle' :) to require from the EDF-GDF company (Electricité de France - Gaz de France) the re-establishment of the supply in energy for a couple of young people who cannot pay, cook and heat their home. The woman (the photo) is pregnant and French government promised a few days ago noone would be cut this winter... (Some families in France were recently killed by fire because of they had had to use candles...) |
