Adam as Matt Spencer (Jason Walton)
The Homecoming by Earl Hamner
The Homecoming became the popular TV series The Waltons. The name had to be changed due to MGM owning the rights to the Spencer's Mountain movie and CBS had to choose another name for the series. Thus, The Waltons was born.
The show starred Patricia Neal and Andrew Duggan as the parents, John and Olivia Walton, Richard Thomas as their son, John-Boy, Ellen Corbin as Grandma, and Edgar Bergen ( who happens to be Candance Bergen father and Charlie McCathy's sidekick) as grandpa. |
