Pastor Mike, has had a computer crash. This is why I am filling in for Him today.

So, what I am talking about is of Divine nature. Divine influence, Divine origin. That which no one can deny, honestly. (Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:) I did say honestly. Perhaps my experience is tainted and it wouldn’t be fair for me to say that mine is exclusive and final. But, is it idealistic only when someone who obviously has an influence of a destructive nature working in their life becomes change. When before hand they not only had tendencies to destroy their bodies and minds but also of those that they come in contact with. To see this often where I walk and work is something that cannot be denied. Especially in those moments and events when those once destructive natures are turned and changed to become helpers of suffering humanity themselves. And not momentarily but decisively and long-term. Yes, honestly there are those that yoyo and bounce back and forth from evil influence to become representatives of near Divine nature. It can be a struggle night and day. ( Romans 7:15. For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. 16. If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. 17. Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 18. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. 19. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. 20. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. (1 John 4:4. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. ) If you are of like influence and belief, we have a great ancestry of Divine nature and eternal design. and we truly have His imprint molded upon us (Acts 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.) There are places, that would not allow such thought to be printed or spoken. I dare say that in those places are the destructive forces against humanity allowed to rampantly flow. When the Divine nature became human flesh He came to set us free from those dark and captive forces that have bred wars and hate and control. But even then He did not come as a mighty conquerer but a gentle babe. Symbolic and so real of a love that is gentle and kind and simple to receive. Like a baby He came. Not to push but to woo. Not to conquer bold brutal flesh as is done in war but to melt hearts of stone and brass and give an influence that usually comes to a heart that has been broken or a mind that has come to its wits end. And in coming to that end finds surrender to a force, an influence a person. One That can be known personally and humanly and in conquering sets free. We have that not in an image not in ideas, not in an imaginary figment of a drug induced mind. But in a real person, that knows exactly where we’ve been, what we’ve done and still finds room to call us sons and daughters. (Hebrews 4:13. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. . .15. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. )
So what is your influence, mentor or guru. There is one that is mighty enough to create all that we see and cannot see and He is waiting for you to come to that place where He can be found. It can be at the end of an awful struggle or at the beginning of simple honesty. ( Revelations 3:19. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. 20. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. 22.
