		celticvoice	Yah we is nuts!!!! I think you have to have hope in yourself and in others, no-one can rely on "a god alone". That's not what I was taught anyway. Sort of a 'he helps those who helps themselves' sorta thing. In one amusing book(it was supposed to be) a lady said to an Atlatis - descendant -raced -freak "Why do you deny man???" I LAUGHED! (as I was supposed to!) Because some people DO! They deny man's abilities - as if some alien-god-thing taught us everything and we were and are slime w/o it. Or some deny man's science as iuf it was sinful or some just ignore the issue altogether, whatever . . . Our talents may come from a creator (JMHO)but they are ours to use as best we can. If there's no god, as I think Niestzche (sp?) was trying to say, "We are not helpless we are men" (CS&N)
