jimvoves Well I am very happy Boss is better. I love animals and he is a special one. The weather here is perfect. Mid 70's, no rain and sunny skies.

FocalAnLae Many thanks for the nice comment re Boss, Jim. They are all special in their own way, dogs, cats and horses, but he has world-class character and talent, not to mention looks! :D (Do I sound like a proud mom?)

sayings That pose, the new vet and State Vet told us, indicated muscle pain and was not a good sign at all. DANGIT ALso the new paddock turned out to be very hot all day so we hard to keep watered qults on him . . .
FocalAnLae Hindsight is 20:20 - If I had gotten another opinion earlier, and IF I had called the State Vet earlier, and IF I had read my horseowners' "vet book" sooner, and IF IF IF . . . dagnabbit. He SHOULD have been in a hospital the second time he went down (once he got up again). By this pic it prolly would have been too late, plus it was a weekend and vets who were working were too busy . . .dammmmmm
