re: Starship: I never connecte it with Jefferson - they had dropped the name and as soon as Micky whos-is joined I never thought they were the same group anyway. I always tho't they wasted Grace's talent but maybe she was too wasted so they hired him . . . ??? You'd think I'd know more since they were SF bred but . . .

He (founder - I forget his name) started his own band after forced them to drop "Jefferson"; I tho't his band stunk, but whatever . . . why McFerron? He caught a LOT of critical heat for that song but all I know was it did make me fell good! ( and the Starship special mix and video for San Francisco was INCREDIBLY good - made you feel "the City")

It was always "The City" to us "left [north-]coasters" . . .

I LOVE THIS SHOT! Can ya e-mail me a big one? pleeeze? Hey, how's the gallery owner doin'? any new meeting set upp yet? PS: I will never be able to listen to that song again - "El Ay" my patootie! But I still don;t think it's the worst ever, my vote (at the moment) goes to "Having My Baby" ("what a wonderful way to say you love me" puuuke) by Paul Augggggggghnka, sung in one of his insane moments!
