Oh gawwwwwwwwwwd I would've taken it . . . whaddya wanna bet they build a yuppie-donme? SHEESHHHHHHola! "They paved paradise, put up a parking lot . . ." or ,,,
...Well I went back to Ohio But my family was gone I stood on the back porch There was nobody home I was stunned and amazed My childhood memories Slowly swirled past Like the wind through the trees Ay, oh, way to go, Ohio I went back to Ohio But my pretty countryside Had been paved down the middle By a government that had no pride The farms of Ohio Had been replaced by shopping malls And muzak filled the air From Seneca to Cuyahoga Falls I said, ay, oh, way to go Ohio

So sad, I would love to live in a house like that.......
Rents here are all over the place, but let's say a 10 acre place all fenced with a big garage/shed and a horse barn (each 900 sq feet) and a 3 br 2 ba mobile home (same as we live in now but ours is on a (badly done) foundation) would rent for somewheres around $1,000 a month - scrace, yanno? We pay ~$480 now for two acres. To buy this place, and I described it above, we are offering 95,000, payments approx $575/ onth 30 yr fixed (int is higher because no foundation)
AND it's only 2 miles or so away!

Looks like a house with lots of stories to tell. I love the old places and hate to see them go - but maybe it's in much worse condition than is apparent?
