How many green! Beautiful, Roger!
Beautiful shots . . . I am convinced part of my not feeling well is a bodily depression caused by helpless anger at the absolutely futile feeble fake wahtever "efforts" by FEMA. If not for the Red Cross, the Sal Army and other NGO's and non-organized people efforts, more would have died.
I think Colin Powell (irately) put it best: [something like] "This is about poverty. The poor could not leave, and in New Orlenas most of them were black." There were poor whites trapped too. FEMA's latesyt is to announce at THE SAME TIME they announced the "new Katrina relief head" that they were not issuing any further debit cards. HUH?
In their announcement they said "The cards were only suppose to be 1/3 of the method of help [yah sure!]. Anyone wanting help should sign on to OUR WEB SITE or CALL OUR 800 NUMBER, we will do a direct deposit to your bank and you can use your ATM CARD" Call or sign up WITH WHAT? Magic invisible PCs and phones? ATM card? Wazzat? Oh, the card back in the mud in N'orleans? To use at the bank that is CLOSED because of flooding???? Uh-huh.
Makes me quite literally ill, I think!
