This is sooooooooo pretty. Reminds me of my big trees at the ranch I had (and the hammock in between and laying in it looking up . . .) Good morning, Roger.
MIKEDONAHUE good morning Roger, you arnt thinking obout climing that are you
Tornado report: Ed told me last night (or was that early this morning?) that there were a couple of funnels spotted down on Pine Ridge Rez . . . as I mentioned yesterday, that's where they usually are. These did not touch down. We aere close enough to the Black Hills to rarely if ever get touchdown, Ed has known of one in 16 years he's been here.
They need wide open country to form and touch down; as you have seen we have some hilly areas. I usually only photograph the southern ones but we also have some to the north between us and Ellsworth AFB.
Did I mention that the bells were making a "beautiful noise" at about the time of the cloud pic? They were! I love having them right here were I can fel the breezwe and see them and hear them . . .
GeoChuck A stately looking one at that.
