			I live there for yearrrrrrs and visited for longer before that. THAT is City Hall from Van Ness Avenue! - did you see the Boots" memorial in the "park"? It had incredible diversity "bacjk then" and still does today. A little of everything, "the City" has.
			They had to shut down City Hall (and many other buildings) and do a lot of rebuilding after there was a big earthquake in 1989 (I was there - UGH!). Is the "new library" as ugly as everybody tells me? The old one was cool but too small.
