		shoriline	hi zeke, sorry for the late response on photo payment -- it depends on the size of the press. at the poetry press i work for we don't usually pay for cover art, and the most we've paid is $200. but at a more major publisher, like penguin or something, you should get about $500 for the rights to use the image on the cover and in promotions for the book. let me know if you have more questions i can help with! --lori
